Getting the job done

Production is what you do. In fact, I wonder why we're writing this for you. You probably don't have time to read it. The print and direct mail managers we've known over the years have little time to waste beyond just getting the job out in a high pressure environment.

So let's be short.

If your company was designed to print-and-ship stuff; or to fold, insert, seal, meter, and mail stuff, you may not be comfortable when clients want you to print, then store, and then ship their materials on request. This requires a whole different warehousing scheme, keeping track of customers' inventories. When you get an order to print or mail, you're already set up for production. Sometimes, customers want to take advantage of volume breaks without having to take all the materials in themselves. But that leaves the materials in your hands, and you need to design a whole system to monitor this order fulfillment process.

Or you can look into outsourcing this part of your operation that isn't the core of what you do.

Start by asking us

Why? Because we'll guide you through a process that will help you discover what your next best move is (if any). You may decide to get into the fulfillment end of it yourself for your clients, but at least you'll know what you're in for. Or you may decide to outsource.

Give us a call at 516-326-6201 when you have a sandwich in one hand and a press proof in the other. Or you can email us with any questions you might have.
